Varisect belts are characterized by a cross section and a nominal internal length. Compliant with ISO standards, these belts are created with a code composed of the letter W followed by a number (e.g. W16) which represents the pitch width (lp) in mm, and the letter P followed by a number (e.g. P500) which corresponds to the pitch length in mm. Starting from this last datum, it is possible to calculate two length alternatives: the external nominal length, by adding the x' value, and the internal nominal length, by subtracting the x'' value.
