A thermoplastic material, crystalline like PE, Polypropylene PP has a high degree of wear resistance and chemical inertia, as well as good rigidity and solidity. However, it appears to have low resistance to abrasion and atmospheric agents. It is normally used with temperatures between +5 °C and + 90 °C, but thanks to its non-polarity properties, PP maintains its characteristics in the presence of aqueous solutions containing salts, acids and strong alkalis up to temperatures of + 120 ° C.
The fields of use are many, including: mechanical sector. chemical, electrical, construction in semi-finished products such as pipes, fittings, sheets, solid bars and profiles. In fact, the following are obtained: tanks, system components, fans, parts of submersible pumps, rings, flanges, pulleys, gears.
